Description

A delightful dish that combines fresh shrimp with vibrant lemon, garlic, and creamy butter sauce over pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, reserving some pasta water for later.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Add the lemon juice and zest, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Combine the cooked spaghetti in the skillet, tossing it with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with optionally more parsley and Parmesan cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
