Ingredients

- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, reserving some pasta water for later.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Add the lemon juice and zest, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the cooked spaghetti in the skillet, tossing it with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with optionally more parsley and Parmesan cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
