- 1 head Romaine lettuce
- 2 cups Sourdough bread, cubed
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the sourdough bread into small cubes. Toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together the egg yolk, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking to create a creamy dressing.
- Toss the washed and chopped Romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing until evenly coated.
- Serve the salad topped with crispy sourdough croutons and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
