Description

A delightful one-pan dish combining creamy pasta, fresh spinach, and tender chicken. Perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups orzo pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to the package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until the onion is translucent (3-5 minutes).
  3. Cook the diced chicken in the skillet until browned and cooked through (6-8 minutes).
  4. Add the fresh spinach and cook until it wilts (2-3 minutes).
  5. Make the cream sauce by pouring heavy cream into the skillet and allowing it to simmer.
  6. Combine the cooked orzo with the skillet mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
