Description

A delicious and healthy meal featuring lean chicken and fresh vegetables wrapped in whole wheat tortillas.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup low-fat ranch dressing or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl, and rub the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes.
  5. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  6. On a tortilla, place a handful of chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, shredded carrots, and strips of chicken.
  7. Drizzle ranch dressing over the ingredients.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll from the bottom to the top.
  9. Repeat the process for the remaining wraps.
  10. Cut each wrap in half diagonally and serve.

Notes

Wrap Wrap Chicken can be customized with different sauces and vegetables. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
