Description

A fun combination of tacos and pizza that’s perfect for parties and casual family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños (optional)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza crust package instructions.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water as per the package instructions, and simmer.
  3. Roll out the pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread the seasoned beef over the crust evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Top with lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeños if using.
  9. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.

Notes

For a variety of flavors, try different types of crust and cheese. Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
