- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Banana pudding mix

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture with the banana mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
- Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Fill each cupcake with banana pudding.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers.
- Serve and enjoy!
