Ingredients
Scale
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by slicing each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl. Set the egg whites aside.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, mash them up with a fork. Add in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Fill the hollowed-out egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
- Keep the deviled eggs in the fridge until serving. They are best when chilled.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For best taste, prepare the yolk mixture in advance and fill the whites just before serving.
