Description

A delightful twist on traditional deviled eggs with flavorful heat and tasty seasoning, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl. Set the egg whites aside.
  2. In the bowl with the egg yolks, mash them up with a fork. Add in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  4. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
  5. Keep the deviled eggs in the fridge until serving. They are best when chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For best taste, prepare the yolk mixture in advance and fill the whites just before serving.
