Description

A delightful slow cooker dish featuring tender chicken thighs in a rich and creamy peanut sauce, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, chicken broth, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks, then stir back into the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes
