Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: 1 cup spinach (for added nutrition)
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it’s fully melted and bubbling.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Increase the heat to medium-high, add the shrimp, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to mix the shrimp and the creamy garlic sauce.
- Add lemon juice and Italian seasoning, then let it simmer on low for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. If using spinach, add it to wilt it down.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately, paired with sides of choice.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh shrimp, control the heat when sautéing garlic, and customize seasonings to taste.
