A quick and delicious creamy garlic butter shrimp dish, perfect for a keto-friendly dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: 1 cup spinach (for added nutrition)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it’s fully melted and bubbling.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high, add the shrimp, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to mix the shrimp and the creamy garlic sauce.
  6. Add lemon juice and Italian seasoning, then let it simmer on low for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. If using spinach, add it to wilt it down.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately, paired with sides of choice.
