Description

A nutritious and delicious snack that satisfies your sweet tooth with protein and whole grains.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: protein powder, rolled oats, and cinnamon. Mix them thoroughly.
  2. In another bowl, mix the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, stirring until well blended.
  4. If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the bites on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Enjoy as a healthy snack!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about one week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag.
