Description

A fun and delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, these egg rolls are crispy and packed with seasoned beef, melted cheese, and crunchy vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese (or American cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers (1012 wrappers)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Drain excess grease and add diced onion, green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, season with salt and pepper, and let cool slightly.
  4. Fold in shredded cheese until melted and well distributed.
  5. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, add 2-3 tablespoons of filling, fold sides in, and roll tightly, sealing edges with water.
  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Ensure egg rolls are sealed properly to prevent leaking during frying. Maintain oil temperature for perfect frying.
