Description

A delightful dessert that blends the creaminess of cheesecake with the rich chocolate flavor of Oreo cookies, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Fold in sour cream and heavy cream until well combined.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour with the door slightly ajar.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled and consider garnishing with whipped cream, extra crushed Oreos, or chocolate sauce.
