Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter in a mixing bowl until crumbly.
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and press the crumb mixture into the bottom evenly.
- Bake the crust for about 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the lemon mixture over the hot crust and spread evenly.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
