Ingredients
12 oz linguine pasta
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large lemon (zested and juiced)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes or 1/4 cup heavy cream for richness

2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
4. Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice.
5. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
6. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and a splash of pasta water as needed to create a silky sauce.
7. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For added protein, top with grilled shrimp or chicken.
Use good-quality butter and fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
Add a handful of arugula or spinach for a bright, green twist.
This dish pairs beautifully with a crisp white wine or garlic bread for a complete meal.
