Description

A fun, shareable dish combining classic pizza flavors into a delightful monkey bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup pepperoni (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (dried)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooking spray (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pan by greasing a bundt pan or a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Prepare the biscuit dough by flattening each biscuit slightly.
  4. Stuff the biscuits with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  5. Seal the balls by pinching the edges together.
  6. Make the garlic butter mixture by combining melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Coat the stuffed balls in the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Layer half of the coated dough balls in the greased pan and sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese. Repeat with remaining dough balls and cheese.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
  11. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overstuff the biscuits. Customize fillings for variety. Options for dips include ranch dressing or garlic butter.
