Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, whole-grain mustard, garlic, olive oil, vinegar (or lemon juice), salt, and pepper.
3. Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour sauce over them, turning to coat evenly.
4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, basting halfway through, until chicken is golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
5. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a caramelized finish.
6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
7. Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for an extra juicy version.
Add a pinch of paprika or cayenne for a spicy twist.
Double the sauce recipe — it’s amazing drizzled over veggies or rice.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
Perfect for meal prep — it reheats beautifully and stays flavorful.
