  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 medium Sweet Onions (like Vidalia)
  • As needed Cooking Spray/Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the onions: Cut the sweet onions into blooming shapes, keeping the root intact.
  2. Soak in buttermilk: Immerse the onions and let soak for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: Whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat the onions: Remove the onions from buttermilk and coat them in the flour mixture.
