Description

A quick and delicious Garlic Butter Steak Pasta combining tender steak with a rich garlic butter sauce and creamy pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak generously with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tbsp of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted into a smooth sauce.
  6. Slice the rested steak into thin strips against the grain.
  7. Add cooked pasta and sliced steak to the skillet, tossing everything to coat in the sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For creamier pasta, increase the amount of heavy cream or cheese. Add veggies like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
