Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (cremini, button, or mix)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 slices rustic bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Optional: fresh thyme or chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden and tender, about 8–10 minutes.
Stir in garlic and cook for another minute. Season with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, toast bread slices under the broiler for 1–2 minutes per side until crisp.
