Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni

  2. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, elbow macaroni, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until macaroni is tender.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and let it melt before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with garlic bread or a salad; can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
