Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cardamom (optional)
1/4 cup tahini or salted caramel for swirl
1/2 cup chopped pistachios (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate together, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
3. Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until glossy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
5. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and cardamom, then fold gently until just combined.
6. Pour batter into prepared pan and swirl in tahini or salted caramel using a knife.
7. Top with chopped pistachios if desired.
8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until edges are set and the center is slightly fudgy.
9. Cool completely before slicing for clean edges.
Notes
Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor.
For extra gooey brownies, bake slightly under time.
Top with a sprinkle of sea salt or edible gold flakes for a luxe Dubai-inspired touch.
