- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Combine the cooked beef in the crockpot with cream cheese and Rotel tomatoes.
- Stir all ingredients until well mixed.
- Cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Add shredded cheese about 30 minutes before serving if desired.
- Serve the dip warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
For a spicier version, use hot Rotel tomatoes or add hot sauce. You can customize the dip with black beans or jalapeños.
