- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and trim the asparagus, removing the tough ends. Place the cleaned asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Combine the breadcrumbs, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well-coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the asparagus.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on them.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, drizzle with lemon juice before serving. Best enjoyed fresh.
