Description

A delightful side dish featuring asparagus coated in crispy breadcrumbs, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and trim the asparagus, removing the tough ends. Place the cleaned asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Combine the breadcrumbs, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well-coated.
  4. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the asparagus.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on them.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle with lemon juice before serving. Best enjoyed fresh.
