Description

A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp, rich garlic butter, and creamy sauce served over fluffy rice, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow to simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve the shrimp and sauce over cooked rice, garnishing with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Consider adding vegetables for a healthier twist.
