Description

A warm and cheesy dip with roasted garlic, perfect for sharing at gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 heads garlic
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley
  • Crostini or crackers, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare the garlic by trimming the tops and drizzling with olive oil, then wrapping in foil.
  3. Roast the wrapped garlic for about 50 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  4. Cool the garlic for a few minutes after roasting.
  5. Mash the roasted garlic into a smooth paste in a mixing bowl.
  6. Mix in cream cheese and sour cream until smooth; then fold in mozzarella, half of the parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spread the mixture in an 8×8 inch baking dish and smooth the top.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 28 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
  10. Serve with crispy crostini or crackers, and enjoy while warm!

Notes

Great with a selection of veggies for freshness. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to three days.
