Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken and rich, creamy sauce enveloping cooked egg noodles.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook egg noodles until al dente (6-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken broth and heavy cream; stir until combined.
  3. Add garlic powder and onion powder; season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in shredded chicken until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  5. Gently add cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss until well-coated.
