Description

Creamy Beef Pasta is a delightful dish that combines tender pasta with a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, for about 7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Make the sauce by lowering the heat, stirring in heavy cream and gradually adding reserved pasta water until desired consistency. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For creamier sauce, add cream cheese or mascarpone. Use lean ground beef or substitute with turkey for a lighter option.
