Ingredients
1 baked 9×13-inch cake (any flavor — chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, etc.)
1/2 cup frosting (buttercream, cream cheese, or store-bought)
12 oz candy melts or chocolate (for coating)
2 tbsp vegetable shortening or coconut oil (for thinning chocolate, if needed)
Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or decorations of choice

Instructions
1. Crumble the baked and cooled cake into a large bowl until fine crumbs form.
2. Add frosting a spoonful at a time, mixing with your hands until the mixture holds together when pressed.
3. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or freeze for 15 minutes until firm.
5. Melt candy melts or chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
6. Dip the end of each cake pop stick into the melted coating, then insert halfway into each cake ball.
7. Dip each cake pop fully into the coating, gently tapping off excess.
8. Decorate immediately with sprinkles or toppings before the coating sets.
9. Place upright in a foam block or cake pop stand to dry completely.
10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate.
