Ingredients

  • 1 box of orange flavored Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the Jello: Begin by taking a mixing bowl and adding the orange flavored Jello. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until dissolved.
  2. Add cold water: Once dissolved, add 1 cup of cold water to the mixture. Mix well.
  3. Cool slightly: Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature to prevent other ingredients from melting.
  4. Mix in fruits and marshmallows: Gently fold in the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows.
  5. Add whipped topping: Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping into the mixture.
  6. Include nuts (optional): If using, add the chopped nuts now.
  7. Refrigerate until set: Pour the mixture into a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for about 240 minutes (4 hours) or until set.
  8. Serve chilled as a delightful side at your holiday meal.
