Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 package active dry yeast

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and granulated sugar. Stir lightly and let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.

- Punch the risen dough down, divide it into 12 pieces, roll each into a long rope, and shape into pretzels.
