- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients without overmixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
