Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Butter and cocoa powder for greasing ramekins
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and generously butter heart-shaped ramekins, dusting with cocoa powder.
2. Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth, then let cool slightly.
3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, powdered sugar, and vanilla until pale and thick.
4. Slowly whisk in melted chocolate mixture.
5. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
6. Divide batter evenly among prepared ramekins.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
8. Let rest for 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates.
9. Serve immediately for a molten center.
