- 1 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1 ripe banana, sliced lengthwise
- 4 puff pastry squares
- 1 beaten egg
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay the puff pastry squares flat on a clean surface without overlapping.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of chocolate hazelnut spread on each pastry square, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Place banana slices on top of the chocolate spread.
- Fold corners of each pastry square over the filling and pinch edges to seal.
- Brush the tops of the pastries with beaten egg.
- Arrange pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature with coffee or tea. Best consumed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
