Description
A fun, easy-to-make dessert that combines sweet cookie dough, fresh strawberries, and rich chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup chocolate chips for dipping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and sprinkle the salt into the mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until a dough forms; avoid overmixing.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips and halved strawberries gently.
- Shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon.
- Place the cookie dough balls on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or a double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each cookie dough ball halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before returning to the baking sheet.
- Let the chocolate-coated cookie dough balls set at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.
- Enjoy your delicious chocolate-dipped strawberry cookie dough bites!
Notes
Use room temperature butter for a smoother dough. Chilling the dough balls helps maintain their shape when dipped in chocolate.
