Description

Delightful cookies that combine the rich creaminess of cheesecake with the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until creamy.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Prepare dry ingredients: whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh and warm, but also delicious at room temperature. Can be paired with milk or vanilla ice cream.
