Description

Delightful dish combining creamy Alfredo sauce with tender chicken inside a warm, crusty bread loaf, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf of French or Italian bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Make a deep cut down the center of the loaf of bread to create a pocket.
  4. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the pocket of the bread, packing it in well.
  5. Drizzle the outside of the stuffed bread with olive oil.
  6. Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. After 20 minutes, unwrap the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables. For added flavor, serve with additional Alfredo sauce for dipping.
