- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 loaf of French or Italian bread
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make a deep cut down the center of the loaf of bread to create a pocket.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the pocket of the bread, packing it in well.
- Drizzle the outside of the stuffed bread with olive oil.
- Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, unwrap the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables. For added flavor, serve with additional Alfredo sauce for dipping.
