Description

A creamy, rich Chicken Alfredo Pasta dish perfect for family dinners or date nights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. This usually means boiling water, adding the pasta, and cooking until al dente. Once it’s done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into strips.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Allow it to melt, then Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Combine the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken in the sauce, tossing until well coated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

Using freshly grated Parmesan cheese enhances the creaminess of the sauce. Garnish with extra cheese and fresh herbs for added flavor.
