- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water and add a pinch of salt. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes) until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through, then remove.
- Sauté garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour heavy cream into the skillet with garlic and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Combine cooked chicken and drained pasta with the sauce, tossing until well-coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture in your sauce. Add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition.
