Description

Delicious cheesy taco sticks wrapped in flaky crescent dough, perfect for snacks and parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions (usually 375°F or 190°C).
  2. Combine cooked ground beef or shredded chicken with taco seasoning in a mixing bowl. Stir in shredded cheese, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, and optional jalapeños.
  3. Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it carefully.
  4. Take a spoonful of the taco mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle of dough.
  5. Roll up the dough starting from the wide end, tucking in the sides as you go.
  6. Place the rolled taco sticks on a baking sheet, leaving space between each. Lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
  7. Bake according to the crescent dough instructions (about 12-15 minutes), or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with salsa or sour cream for dipping.
