Delightful twist on traditional Italian calzones filled with creamy Alfredo sauce and tender shredded chicken. Perfect for any time of day!

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 package pizza dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into 6–8 inch circles.
- Place a generous amount of the chicken mixture on one half of each circle, leaving space around the edges.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filled half and seal the edges, crimping with a fork if desired.
- Place the calzones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Make steam vents by cutting a few slits on top of each calzone.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce and your favorite herbs!
Notes
Use leftover rotisserie chicken for speedy preparation. Don’t overstuff to prevent spilling.
