A delightful treat that combines chocolate chip cookies with a creamy cheesecake filling.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Make the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Cream butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla and eggs.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet. Shape cookie dough around chilled cheesecake filling to form balls.
- Place cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon or almond extract. You can also use chocolate cookie dough for a double chocolate version.
