Description

A delightful treat that combines chocolate chip cookies with a creamy cheesecake filling.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Make the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Cream butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla and eggs.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet. Shape cookie dough around chilled cheesecake filling to form balls.
  5. Place cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon or almond extract. You can also use chocolate cookie dough for a double chocolate version.
