Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup green apple, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×9 inch pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and cream over medium heat, stirring continuously.
  3. Once boiling, cook for an additional 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Fold in chopped green apples gently.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  8. Once set, cut into squares and serve.
