- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the cold butter and cut it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Combine the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries until just mixed.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until it holds together.
- Shape it into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into wedges.
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the scones on it.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
