Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking pan with butter or baking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mix, stirring gently until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until set but slightly soft in the middle.
