Ingredients
2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced into rings
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional: chopped parsley or chili flakes for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Separate onion slices into individual rings.
4. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
5. Place small piles of the Parmesan mixture onto the parchment paper.
6. Top each pile with an onion ring, pressing gently into the cheese.
7. Bake for 15–18 minutes (or air fry 8–10 minutes) until cheese is golden and crispy.
8. Let cool for 2–3 minutes to fully crisp up.
9. Garnish if desired and serve immediately.
