Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter and sugar mixture.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
