Ingredients

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 400g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted unsalted butter. Press into a pie dish to form a solid crust.
  2. Make the caramel: Heat sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat for 1-2 hours until thickened. Pour over the cooled crust.
  3. Add the bananas: Slice ripe bananas and arrange over the caramel layer.
  4. Whip the cream: Beat heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the banana layer.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the pie for at least an hour before serving.
