- 200g digestive biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter
- 400g sweetened condensed milk
- 2 ripe bananas
- 300ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted unsalted butter. Press into a pie dish to form a solid crust.
- Make the caramel: Heat sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat for 1-2 hours until thickened. Pour over the cooled crust.
- Add the bananas: Slice ripe bananas and arrange over the caramel layer.
- Whip the cream: Beat heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the banana layer.
- Garnish: Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
- Chill: Refrigerate the pie for at least an hour before serving.
