Description

A tender and flavorful chicken dish with a rich buttery sauce and zesty lemon flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 10 chicken pieces (preferably thighs)
  • 2.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chicken seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 1/2 cup parsley (chopped)
  • 1.5 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup parmesan (freshly grated)
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix salt, paprika, and chicken seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken pieces.
  4. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the onion until translucent.
  5. Add parsley, garlic, and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken stock and lemon juice, then stir in parmesan, cream, and thyme.
  7. Combine the seasoned chicken and sauce in a baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
