Instructions
- Prepare the mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, chopped green onions (or chives), and the egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until smooth.
- Shape the balls: Take small amounts of the mixture and form into balls, about the size of a golf ball. Ensure they are tightly packed.
- Coat with breadcrumbs: Roll each ball in the breadcrumbs until completely coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Place the balls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, spraying lightly with cooking spray or brushing with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
